  • COngratulations and thank you.  They are gorgeous!  How old are they?  Rescue, adoption or breeder?  They look so petable, I want to just reach out and feel their fur.  Welcome to DK!

    • I got them from a breeder, they are 10 weeks old.

  • Adorable.

  • They are darling.  Sheepadoodles have the cutest markings!  What made you decide on this mix?
And apologies for the unsolicited advice, but be sure to read up on Littermate Syndrome -- when two littermates go to the same home they can develop behavioral issues unless you make a concerted effort to crate and train them separately and give them 1:1 time.  It doesn't happen 100% of the time, but enough that you'll want to prepare yourself so they bond more to you and don't develop separation anxiety from each other or aggression toward each other.  They are adorable and I hope you have lots of fun with them!

    • Any advice is welcomed. I did just read about littermate syndrome, I did not know that was a thing. I'm glad that I now know as I will change some things up.

      • I have had 2 sets of littermates and haven't had any problems with any of them. Just give each one special, individual attention away from their littermate. My boys certainly do have very different personalities, and do get upset when one is not here, but we don't have any of the problems described in the literature as "littermate syndrome."

        • You've been very lucky. As a founding member of Doodle Rescue Collective, I can tell you that I have personally been involved in the rehoming of dozens of doodles with Littermate Syndrome. It's real, and to be very honest, there is not a knowledgable, reputable, ethical dog breeder in existence who would sell two puppies to the same home at the same time, even if they are not from the same litter. Most of them insist that there be at least 6 months age difference between pups in the same home.

          • Yes, we have been lucky - to have such wonderful babies. But we are also educated in how to socialize and raise littermates. I assure you, I did get my boys from a reputable breeder.

  • Adorable. My litter mate brothers are 8 years old and are definitely best buds. They play hard together.

  • Congratulations. They are very cute!
