The requirements for your photos to be accepted can be found here:

Here is the information on how to submit your photos. Deadline for Submissions: September 23rd, 2018

https://doodlekisses.com/forum/topics/now-accepting-2019-doodle-cal...

This discussion is great opportunity to get feedback. Many people in this group have had their photos in the calendar year after year.

1.  If you can't decide which photos to submit, this group loves to give opinions! Number your photos and PLEASE, no more than 4 photos per post. You can post multiple times throughout the weeks but I don't want to see 20 pictures in a single post.

2. Post images that you want recommendations for regarding crop, or editing help.

3. Not sure if your image is up to snuff? Post and ask. We will give honest feedback as to what is working and not working.

4. If you are open to reshooting your photos, post your photo and we can give very helpful advice on how to reshoot and make it so much better!

Good luck!

This is so special. Truly.

Thanks Camilla. I love that sideways glance she’s giving me.

Gorgeous shot.  I think the closer crop is better for the calendar submission.

i definitely prefer the closer crop. Beautiful shot.

Beautiful.  I like that 3 feet are off the ground.

Yes!  This is a fantastic shot!  No wonder it's a favorite!  Georgia looks like she is having the time of her life.  I love the first one with the framing...love the second...of course because it is close up...could you do a crop something like this? LOL...you know me, I want it ALL!

Thanks Joani,

The crop has to be 11 x 8.5 as that is the size of the image on the calendar. I think I will go with the bottom crop, but I may be able to pull some of the details back into the frame with a little photoshop work. I do like the hint of highlighted grass.

Yes, after I saw your post about 4 x 3 I didn't think my crop would work...anyway, yes the grass is very nice...work your magic!

Love it, I can feel him running!  I wish I could get an action shot like that of my DJ

Too boring?? I know it’s not the most exciting picture, but I just love this pic of Charlie! Haha  when his Afro is combed out I find it difficult to not overexpose it  if anyone has tips on that, please led me know! It’s almosr a fluorescent-white color in person!

Can you give me some information on your camera settings? what camera are you using and if you have a lens.  It looks like a picture you could retake easily and get better results but I need that first.

Ah sorry! Nikon D600, 35mm lens. ISO 320 (OOPS- I must have been shooting inside before this. I didn't check bc I usually keep it on 100), f/4, 1/100
