Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

For this assignment we will focus on your dog running towards you.

I've provided the guideline in pdf form as it doesn't clutter up the top of every page in the discussion. I know we would all rather see pictures!

I've tried to make it as simple as possible. There are things I recommend doing and not doing, but please note that I am trying to make it as easy as possible to get your dog in focus.

Please read the pdf attached. Let me know if you see anything that needs to be explained better or added to make this as user friendly as possible.

Also please state your camera settings with each photo: ISO, shutterspeed, aperture, and focal length.

And happy shooting!

Love seeing Finn!! Great job!!

One more. I took it this morning --Finn's morning run-about --it was cloudy and there was so much mist that my lens kept fogging over. But there was one spot where the lighting hit him just right.   A much different feel from the previous photos. Here  I used continuous focus with a 9 pt grid rather than single focus.

F 5    1/4000 sec    ISO 2000    70mm

Whatever it was worked!

The light on Finn is so beautiful against the background. and the pose is perfect. Can you send me the original file?

Done.

Wonderful, Cheryl.

Another good one of Finn! You are rocking this assignment.

Thanks all.  I hope the rain is done for a while.

This dog can jump!
Well, this isn't Georgia but it is a goldendoodle, and it is an action shot. Her name is Aggie and she is 2 years old and this guy adopted her at 4 months old when the original owners decided she had too much energy for their children. She was just adorable and amazing. We met her at the beach. Maybe I am getting tired of photographing Georgia.
I didn't get the money shot but it was so much fun. I got to the beach this morning and it was so cloudy and so much debris on the beach I decided to not take pictures. But then this girl came along and I just had to pull out the camera.

These are such fun, fun shots.  What an athlete!!!

Jumping like Tigger! So cute!

Wow....that dog can jump! Nice work!!
