LONG ISLAND DOODLE ROMP - Hi all - I am helping Maci's breeder, Gold Coast Labradoodles, coordinate our annual doodle romp to raise some funds for International Doodle Owners Group. Hope some of you will take a little road trip and join us in some fun. It is held indoors so weather does not play into it. Here are the details:
When: April 18, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Where: Community Church of Syosset (DO NOT MAIL YOUR CHECK HERE)

Price: $20.00 if paid in advance
$25.00 if paid at the door.
Here is a link to Gold Coast Labradoodles' website to download the waiver and instructions where to mail your payment. It's easier if you pre-register so check in at the door is quicker and you can start having fun sooner. Also if you pre-register, we'll have a pre-made name tag for you.

If anyone is interested in staying overnight, let me know. I have found a hotel that has 7 pet friendly rooms and if we can book all 7 rooms, they will give is a group rate. Roughly about $99.00 a night with a $20.00 pet fee. They allow two dogs to a room and have a weight limit of 70 pounds.

Hi jersey doodle! An Asian tick has been located in your area. Steps are being taken to eradicate it, but that's always difficult. The article sez they don't know how it happened, but I knew a woman who snuck Ina kitten from turkey or Africa that had parasites...hers were internal...The he screen shot duplicated the article, but I wanted the photo to be included and couldn't avoid the duplication.image.png

Read more…The annual Sandy Hook Romp is planned for September 19, 2015. We plan to meet at 11:00 a.m. at the same parking lot and caravan over to the beach. Lunch will be at Bahr's after the romp. We are putting the final touches on the 2015 t-shirts and hoodies and the Booster link will be up soon.I will post more details, including the actual parking lot info, shortly! We live in central NJ and am interested in setting up playdates or joing groups already formed for our 3 year old golden doodle.....super friendly and energetic.......
We have nice size fenced in yard.....and a dog park not too far.......or can for a play date.....
