What is Phantom markings from?
The phantom poodles exhibit all the markings of the Doberman pinscher, such as light-colored eyebrows, muzzle and throat, legs and feet and below the tail area. The term "phantom" applies only to color and markings. Phantom Poodles are not a different breed or type of dog, this is simply a term to describe a particular coloring of the dog, and is NOT a "parti" colored poodle.     Definitely looks like a phantom.  I had two doodles with a phantom poodle father.  One was a phantom goldendoodle (greatest coat ever) and the other is a sheepadoodle.  Their photos are on my page.  Take a look and you can recognize them immediately.  Groucho Too has passed away, and MonaChica is my latest doodle.

    Hi! Henry is a 5 month old rescue golden doodle .  We don't have any info about his parents.  He looks like a phantom to us.  What do you think?

    I, also, adore the phantom doodles.  I had a F1b phantom goldendoodle and he was a beautiful dog.  He had the most wonderful coat.  When he passed over the bridge, I wanted another dog like him but his breeder was not breeding them.  She had started with phantom sheepadoodles and Bernedoodles.  I ordered a sheepadoodle and had to wait two years, but it was worth it.  Here is a photo of her parents.  Phantom poodles make fantastic studs.3367007210?profile=original

    Oh my goodness, they are beautiful!!! Thank you so much for sharing their pictures! I'm very curious what my lil Rascal's coat will be like, he is almost 4 months old, and so far it is short and corse (wiry), but kind of thick? If that makes any sense, what were your pups coat like as a pup?

    Phantom is simply a pattern that can be expressed in doodles similar to parti but not the same.  Here are a couple of our Phantom girls.Patches, Reese
