Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
We've chosen our next dog! She's a 5-week old bernedoodle (Bernese mountain dog/standard poodle) - coming home in late September. We wanted something really different from Luna (F1 mini goldendoodle) since our hearts are still broken from her passing.
I know Luna never had the tufts around her eyes and she was a flat-coated goldendoodle so I'm predicting at least "scruffy" for this little one. I looked at some pictures of Bernese puppies and she only looks slightly fluffier than one of those so I don't think she will be curly.
What do you think?

What a little cutie pie! Congratulations!
Thanks! :) We are pretty excited as we were third pick but this puppy was actually our first choice. We lucked out that the first 2 people didn't pick her.
YAY! That's wonderful!
I think she is precious and perfect and I would like to kiss that nose. I'm so excited for you.
She does have a kissable little nose :)
I'm curious exactly how big she'll be when she comes home... I'm predicting she's already bigger than my neighbor's bichon-maltese (also a black and white dog). It will be funny to see the two side by side.
She is so cute! I can’t wait to see how she grows and changes. Do you have a name for her yet?
We are pretty much decided - going to wait to meet her to finalize it though :)
I think there is so much she could change even between 5 and 8 weeks that it would be hard for any of us not used to tiny puppies to even hazard a guess, but one thing for sure is that she is adorable. Her nose, if no other reason, would make her my first pick. I can't wait to see more photos of her.
Yeah I'll definitely update as she grows! I wonder if her nose will stay "freckled" like that - it's been getting darker every time I get a new picture :p
Thanks :) We are so excited!
We have a little short list of names, want to wait until she comes home to finalize it.
