Patti, I am so sorry for you loss.  I know how you are feeling all too well.  My Bear crossed the Rainbow Bridge in february.  I still expect him to be waiting at the door when i walk in at night.  May your memories bring you smiles.

Patti, I am so sorry for your loss.  We lost our beloved Springer Spaniel last summer to bloat. We are still grieving. We just adopted a parti doodle with our dear Gordie's coloring. It is comforting to us each time he walks by.

Patti, I am so sorry. Those of us that are members of this group, know your devastation too well. My sweet, funny Chloe died in my bed right after her 9th birthday, and she (and dear, almost made it to 14, Bridget) had been my bedmates for almost 14 years. Chloe had no (known) health issues, and died, suddenly, maybe from an aneurysm. I had never felt so shocked and preparation. I did what others may no recommend, but it saved me....I found a 6 month old labradoodle BELLA, (i couldn't find a puppy right away..sweet Bella was 'left behind' at a back yard breeder). I am so happy I got her. I still can't think of that night when Chloe died. But I fill those sad empty moments, with my sweet Bella. I am so sorry for the passing of your adorable Misty Moo...hugs

PAtti, so sorry for your loss.  I lost my 6 1/2 yr old Molly to lymphoma almost a year ago and still think of her almost every day.  It is so hard to say good-bye after such a short time with them in our lives.  She will always be by your side.

My little girl lost her battle today. I could not watch her suffer anymore. She was with me and her grandma when she left us. My heart is broken and the cats are looking for her. Misty Moo I will miss watching football with you and cuddling when we go sleepy night night. This is the first night in 9 and a half years I have slept without you in my bed.

Nicole, my Chloe looked very much like your doggie's picture. Cute, beautiful, attention getter. I am ataching her picture, but her death is still so raw, I can't really look at it.

For those who asked, I got beautiful Bella, last Saturday, 5 days after Chloe's sudden death. Chloe helped me get over Bridget's expected, but still SAD, death, because she was my pet when Bridget died. When Chloe died, my heart was literally broken...I NEEDED a new dog...its helping. But still I can't even think about Chloe. It takes my breath awaychloe2014.jpg

A kind friend sent me this. Thought I'd share here:
"We who choose to surround ourselves with lives even more temporary than our own, live within a fragile circle, easily and often breached.
Unable to accept its awful gaps, we still would live no other way.
We cherish memory as the only certain immortality,
never fully understanding the necessary plan."
Irving Townsend.
