We will be picking up our puppy in 3 weeks. The breeder uses dog food and treats from an online company. I prefer to buy ours at a local, well-established store with excellent products. Our 10 yr old now eats Honest Kitchen with a little Nutri-Source Grain Free kibble mixed in. Occasionally I'll add a Primal Nugget or two. Should I buy enough of the online food and treats from my breeder to last for 2 weeks? She will be giving us enough to last 5-7 days. I don't want our puppy to start off with digestive problems.

You must not change anything about the puppy's diet for at least two weeks after he comes home. No new food, no new treats, and use non-food chew items like the non-edible puppy Nylabones. I cannot over-emphasize how important this is.
