I live in Maryland with my Goldendoodle LiliBear. I provide occupational therapy services to kids with disabilities in a special school.
What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
4/17/09 - I brought home my Goldendoodle puppy from Florida to Maryland. Her name is LiliBear. She will grow to be between 38-48 lbs. She is now grown up at 56 lbs :)
LiliBear loves to have fun and is currently taking agility class :)
Where did you get your doodle(s)?
Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
Love Golden Retrievers - my cleaning skills have not gotten any better since my last Golden, so less fur could be a nice thing for my visitors.
What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
Right now -Agility class and Obedience training :)
Does your doodle(s) shed?
A little bit but nothing major
Who grooms your doodle(s)?
The groomer and me :)
Would you be willing to Dog Sit on occasion for other DoodleKisses members? (You are NOT committing to anything by saying yes - you are just saying you might be willing to do this if you were acquainted with the other member and the circumstances were right.)
Thanks for your nice comments & glad you enjoyed Finnegan's World. We'd love to be friends. Lilibear is beautiful and looks so happy! It's interesting to me that you work with special needs children. Does Lilibear? Just curious. Finn and I work (as volunteers) with a class of special needs kids one day a week.
Thanks for the friend request, Leslie. LiliBear sure is adorable. I have been working with Rua on agility, also. The pictures you have of her doing a run are great - especially the tunnel. Did you have someone take them while you ran with her? Your profile says LiliBear will get to be between 38-48 lbs. She must be like Rua...fluffy and puffy...looks like she weighs more than she does!
Thank you! I think she's pretty darn cute, too! ;0). But speaking of too cute, your Little Bear is Adorable!! I love how his tongue just hangs out. It makes him look like he's laughing. And such a beautiful coat!!
Aww, thanks for the invite Leslie! Our last dog was a wonderful Golden Retriever, so I am pleased as punch that Gus and Molly have more of a golden than poodle look, and Molly really reminds me of Katie, she always has to have something to carry around in her mouth! I think you're going to get your wish and be off work the whole week, what with yet another storm on the way. I don't think we'll get off this mountain until April!
Hi Leslie, thanks for the sweet comment about my pups! I see you live in Owings Mills. I grew up in Baltimore (Arbutus), lived in Eldersburg for 9 years, and my nephew and his wife and kids live in Owings Mills, where she is an elementary school teacher. She's getting a lot of days off this year!
LiliBear is sooo cute, I really enjoyed your smilebox presentation.
Hi Leslie. Thanks for the Friends Request. I see that you're an OT. Our son has Downs Syndrome and we've had some amazing OT's helping him throughout the years. He's 24 now, and has pretty great motor skills. I credit the OTs for that! LiliBear is one cute Doodle!
