I was wondering if anyone here has a dog who had to have TPLO Surgery, which is treatment for Cranial Cruciate Ligament Disease.  Oliver had an appointment with an Orthopedic Specialist yesterday for…Continue

Ivy's Histriocytoma Update

Started this discussion. Last reply by Nancy, Ned, Clancy, and Charlie Apr 14. 3 Replies

It finally happened!  As the Vet said, Ivy's hystiocytoma would ulcerate, it did and it was disgusting, then it dried up, also disgusting, then it was hanging off her eyelid, TOTALLY DISGUSTING, but…Continue

I am trying to get in touch with you. Can you possibly accept my request? I wanted to ask a couple of questions regarding breeders. Thank you much!

Welcome! Be sure to read the link to DRC ADOPTION POLICIES AND PROCEDURES. http://doodlerescue.org/notes/DRC_ADOPTION_POLICIES_AND_PROCEDURES especially noting children’s age minimum.
The Adoption application form is at the top of the page.
Check the DRC ADOPTABLE PETS on our home page. When you are looking at the Adoptable Pet pictures, notice that the two letters in front of the dog’s name mean the state they are being fostered in. While the DRC allows out of state applicants, they cannot transport the rescues and will not let them fly, so you need to be within driving distance of the foster.
Other suggestions to find a rescue doodle: click on the REGIONAL LISTINGS section http://doodlerescue.org/groups/doodlesinneedinnorthamerica ; and check PETFINDER (putting in all zip codes within driving distance); also GOOGLE in shelters and humane societies within your driving range. Check back often.
pirate welcome to drc
