How often do you bathe your dog? Our goes to the groomer once every 2 months, but even though I clean all the time it still smells. I’m thinking of taking him once a month just to get bathed he’s a…Continue

"This makes a lot of sense, and it sounds like you have a good vet. One money-saving tip; instead of buying the canned pumpkin, you can use sweet potato. Bake in your microwave (9 minutes on the baked potato setting on my microwave) and then you…"

"Well, puppies should never leave their litters until they are at least 8 weeks old; in fact, it's against the law to let them go earlier in 25 states. When did your sister get her? And giardia has a 10-14 day incubation period, so it…"

"Soft bowel movements contribute to anal gland problems, because the stool isn't firm enough to put pressure on the glands when it passes, and therefore the anal glands don't empty normally. It sounds like this pup needs more fiber in her…"

Anal gland issue in puppy

My sister got a sweet f1b goldendoodle and we get to baby sit for the next 2weeks. She took her to the vet and everything was good but she was told she had full anal glands (she was scooting) so they fixed that for her. I’ve already bathed her but she kind of has like a skunk smell and I’ve noticed she’s scooting again. She said she would call her vet when they open Friday Morning and see what they suggest. I should also mention she’s having soft bowel movements, but she said her fecal exams…See More

Your doodle is extremely cute cute cute...I see he's had several problems, itching, diarrhea.  Ever consider feeding him a RAW diet?  With one doodle it's not too bad, I have 2 doodles and it gets a little crazy, but I am determined to have them on RAW and it has been a godsend for us.  My girls have no more diarrhea, itching, or ear infections.  There's a lot of great information online.  Check it out.  Good luck with your furkid!
