"This seems reasonable.  Walks are great, we skip them in extreme heat - burned paws, dehydration, not fun.  Not full out running with that size dog, but a good brisk walk with a couple of slow downs for sniffing is great."

Puppy walking

Just wanted to check with everyone and see what they did with walking their pups.My pup is 8 months old and we have been doing two walks a day. Our walks are generally 30-40 minutes each, once in the morning and once in the evening. He gets two visits to the dog park each week too if that helps. He usually gets about 15-25 minutes of fun play at the dog park before I notice him slowing down and I get him out of there. Am I overdoing it on his walks? He hasn't ever given me a sign that he's done…See More

Homemade dog food with instant pot

Hello, I'm interested in making my dogs food at least some of the time. He's currently on Acana Regional. I've seen some websites out there with recipes - does this group have specific websites/recipes that are endorsed by this group? In theory, I'd like to make a batch of food on Sunday for the week. Depending on cost, I'd like at least one meal a day to be homemade. I just got an instant pot and would love to put it to use. Also, any other things for me to consider before taking the plunge?See More

"Definitely boo to the naysayers. Especially doodles, who have such a fun personality.  We had litter mates because we couldn't pick one. They were best friends, but it never interfered with their love for the family. "

Here's Chewy in his first video with a guest appearance by Mojo.

Meet Chewy!

Posted on February 27, 2018 at 9:30am 4 Comments

Hello!

We recently welcomed a new addition, his name is Chewbacca (Chewy). He's a F1B medium Goldendoodle. He joins our female Mojo who is a F1 standard Goldendoodle. We also had Sebastian, who was Mojo's littermate, but he passed away on 1/26 due to osteosarcoma. His spirit still lives on.

Chewy came on Friday 2/23. Yesterday was his first day home alone with just Mojo. It didn't go well as Mojo was in another room so Chewy felt alone and howled for most of the day,…

Thanks for explaining.  Chewy is a baby, so these other two were your older dogs.
