I live in Reno with my husband our two dogs and birds. I am very lucky that I can spend all day with my pets because I telecommute.

I have a chocolate labradoodle, Beck- he was whelped on January 5, 2009 and is the love of my life, Beck is now our Aussie Kira's BFF. Kira is a somewhat anxious old girl, nearly 9 and has suffered with lupus her whole life, she and Beck romp like they are both puppies, it's a delight to watch

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
My husband and I set out to search for the perfect dog about 6 months ago. We both have become concerned about some of the genetic problems in 'purebreds' and wanted to avoid that, but we did want a healthy pup and one that was both calm & curious- we are so lucky- our little Beck is absolutely perfect

a lady here in town grooms him in her home, mostly just baths now to get him used to grooming
Thanks, Lynne for your comment. I appreciate it! We've been waiting months for this puppy and have read several books in preparation of having the best puppy to live with. We know people whose dogs are great with their owners but not so great with others (especially in the manners department). We want our dog to be well behaved around everyone. This is our first (and after Lucy's arrival we wonder why we waited so long) so we're trying to do things right.
Adrianne Matzkin is the lady that contacted me, and I do believe that they might have a transport system set up, she just needs someone to pull him. I also searched DK for people in the northern part of NV and left messages with them regarding this boy. I also am not allowed a third :( I would take him in a heartbeat if I could!
