Itching Doodle

Any suggestions for an itching doodle? Vet gave him a $60 shot, didn't help. Giving him Zesty Paws which seems to help a little. Bathing him in sensitive shampoo. He's not eating chicken, which…Continue

"It would help to know what kind of shot it was the vet gave him. If it was steroids, it would have helped within 24 hours. Of course, that doesn;t tell us what the cause of the itching is, which is what you need to know to deal with it long…"

"Ginny, Clancy has short legs also. Since we adopted him at two I don’t know when his shorter legs became obvious. He weighed 55 pounds when we adopted him and weighs 62 now. He’s only about19” at the shoulder."

"Thanks for your response! I'm thinking you all may be on to something.  I guess time will tell with my new little friend.  It's funny tho, after having a 110lb ball of furry, loveable labradoodle, 45-50 is a mini to us! HAPPY NEW…"

"I adopted a "mini-labradoodle" at 7 months of age 11 years ago--when I got her, she was 27 pounds but has short legs and a stocky body, so she gained quite a bit of weight- but not much height-and is now around 40-42 pounds. It seems like…"

Nancy, Ned, Clancy, and Charlie replied to Sabrina H's discussion Size of Mini Labradoodle
"Mini's are pretty much done growing at 8 or 9 months, but 32 pounds is already too large for a mini.  If she is 7 months and 32 pounds, she is most likely not done growing. She is going to be at least a medium  - maybe 40 pounds or…"

J and Riley (and Luna) replied to Sabrina H's discussion Size of Mini Labradoodle
"Luna was a mini goldendoodle, she stopped growing around 7-8 months in height/length then filled out.  I'd say your pup sounds about Luna's size, is likely done growing in size and will top out at 36-40 lbs at a healthy adult weight…"

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
Double Mini Labradoodle, will be 9 months in January, 2019. His name is Baxter. He fit into our furry family very well. Brought a little life back to our 14 year old rescue, Riley. Is best friends with one of our cats, Max. And totally annoys our other cat, Mozzie.
Where did you get your doodle(s)?
